Comerica Bank 3rd Annual Women's Business Symposium

Costa Mesa, CA – Comerica Bank will host an educational symposium themed “Mastering Your Business Potential” for professional business women and women business owners. The keynote speaker is Cynthia Harriss, former president of Gap and Disney Resorts, and emceed by Camille Jayne, president of The JAYNE Group. Melissa Pollard, Comerica Bank SVP and Group Manager of Middle Market Banking, founded the Women’s Business Symposium for Comerica Bank.

Local business experts will be the panelists and moderators, offering their insights on:

Ticket sales proceeds will be donated to Girls Inc. of Orange County (GIOC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to “Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and boldSM.” GIOC provides year-round educational programs through its center located in Costa Mesa, and also has 51 outreach sites established at schools and community centers throughout Orange County. GIOC offers girls age 4-18 programs to prepare for higher education, improve self-esteem, become active in their communities and grow into independent women.

Ten of the 14 new Comerica Bank banking centers opened in 2008 in California were in five Southern California counties. Comerica Bank is ranked among the 20 largest banking companies in the United States. The Bank is the largest banking company headquartered in Texas with 53 banking centers in Southern California.
